SYNOPSIS
uptime(1) is a social gathering with known and unknown UNIX people. The dot.com's meet UNIX guru's, who otherwise never see the daylight. A professional day with lectures combined with a festive night, where we celebrate that the UNIX clock reaches its 1.000.000.000 second and that Linux has completed its tenth year!

DESCRIPTION
uptime(1) consists of two parts : a professional part and a festive part.
In the afternoon you can hear different speakers (according to your interests) and in the evening you will be served a wonderful feast, followed by live music, djs and more.

HISTORY
The Internet was a sole UNIX matter until a couple of years ago.
It is still UNIX that operates the central parts of the huge junctions at the Internet. But UNIX is like the invisible man and we would like to change that with this event. We put UNIX on the agenda!
